Camping With Cass Part One (and a Pig Roast!)

A few weeks ago Cass Gilbert emailed to say he would be in town soon and would I like to meet up and ride some trails? He’s taking a break from his tour from Alaska to Patagonia to visit friends in the US.  We had never met, but I’d been interested to pick his brain about dirt touring and world travel for quite some time. On New Years Day, a good friend and customer Jill K. invited us to her annual Pig Roast Extravaganza, and how could we say no?Pictures don’t do it justice.I think you know what happens next.A small mob descended on this pig and devoured it with forks, because the meat was that tender.  No part went to waste, and I saw at least a few pieces of toast with brains spread on them being consumed.
